Global Securities Services - Inbound
Securities custody and settlement
- custody and settlement of securities in dematerialized form registered in the Central Securities Depository (CDCP) for foreign investors;
- custody of foreign securities;
- management and custody of bearer shares in paper form.
The bank provides securities custody services based on a Master Agreement or Subcustody Agreement.
The security custody services include:
- payout of interest, dividends, and other gains on securities to client’s account;
- representation of clients in General Meetings of shareholders in compliance with the client’s instructions;
- security record-keeping;
- custody of bearer shares in paper form in vaults, and receipt and delivery of such shares according to the instructions.
UniCredit Bank is a regular member of the CDCP and keeps records of clients’ securities in line with the CDCP’s rules.
The bank effects settlement of securities based on a Master Agreement or Subcustody Agreement.
The settlement of securities includes:
- transfers of securities according to a client’s instructions;
- statement of transactions on a client’s account and financial settlement.
A client may communicate with the bank either in person, by way of a contact person, by phone, SWIFT, Business Net Securities, or by fax.

Security custody and settlement

The service is suitable for holders of larger security portfolios.
The security custody services are provided based on a "Security Custody Agreement".
The security custody services include:
- payout of interest, dividends, and other gains on securities to a client’s account;
- representation, upon request, of clients in General Meetings in compliance with a client’s instructions;
- security record-keeping;
- custody of bearer shares in paper form in vaults, and receipt and delivery of such shares according to the instructions.

Depository services
Depository services are provided to:
- pension management companies, and particularly to pension funds under Act No. 426/2011 Coll. on Retirement Savings, participants funds pursuant to Act No. 427/2011 Coll. on Supplementary Pension Savings, transformed funds pursuant to Act No. 42/1994 Coll. on State-Contributory Supplementary Pension Insurance and on changes of certain acts connected with the implementation thereof, and to other funds pursuant to Act No. 240/2013 Coll. on Management Companies and Investment Funds.

We cooperate closely with the regulator on the legislation process as well as on the process of setting the control mechanism and, in doing so, we always defend the interests of our clients.
UniCredit Bank Czech Republic and Slovakia, a.s. provides depository services under the surveillance of the Czech National Bank. It supervises the statutory and regulatory restrictions in the investment of funds in pension management companies and investment funds.
The depository services are secured in UniCredit Bank by the Depository Services section within the Global Securities Services unit falling under the Global Transaction Banking department reporting directly to the member of the Board of UniCredit Bank responsible for the Corporate, Investment and Private Banking division.
