Cookies Files Use
What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small data file placed in your browser on a device (computer, smartphone or tablet) on which you are viewing the web pages. Its purpose is to help the web pages you browse work properly and display the right content. Most browsers automatically accept cookies, unless they are configured otherwise.
Where do we use cookies?
At Unicreditbank.cz and other websites operated and supported by UniCredit Bank Czech Republic and Slovakia, a.s.
Why do we use cookies?
They help remember your activities and preferences for a certain amount of time, so you don't have to re-enter them when you return to a web page or go from page to page. However, in no case may cookies be used to identify visitors by a third party.
Information from cookies can subsequently be used for targeted advertising, statistical evaluation of visitor behaviour, etc.
What cookies do we use?
Technical cookies
- These cookies are mandatory.
- If you do not have them in your browser, the web pages will not work properly. For example, the relevant web page would not remember the information you entered and you would have to re-enter such information each time (amounts pre-filled in mortgage calculators etc.).
Analytics cookies
- You can manage these cookies in your browser.
- The data collected is anonymous and aggregate.
- We use Google Analytics as our analytical tools.
- With them, we can continually improve web pages by tracking statistical data, such as how much traffic they have received in total, how many people have clicked on the respective button, etc.
Marketing cookies
- You can manage these cookies in your browser.
- The purpose of these cookies is to correctly display offers on the Internet according to your preferences, so that we do not bother you with something that is not relevant to you.
How can I manage cookies?
Cookies can be managed through any browser; you can manage them yourself and there are several options:
- Block = disable, but a part of web pages may not display properly and some functional parts, such as calculators and other forms, may not work as you normally use them.
- Manage or delete, but even in this case certain parts of web pages may not work properly.
