Lending programme for small and medium-sized enterprises through FLPG

Program is valid until 31/12/2023

We are the only bank in Slovakia that provides its clients with this FLPG guarantee.

The financing of the guarantee is provided within the benefits from the support from the Operational Programme Integrated Infrastructure, which is co-financed by the European Structural and Investment Funds.

The FLPG guarantee provides easier access to funding owing to reduced collateral requirements and also enables clients to get lower interest rates.

The FLPG guarantee allows for the financing of investments that are under way, provided they are not completed at the time of submitting the loan application.

Our bank provides:

• Investment loans
  Investments in tangible or intangible property, including transfers of ownership titles in enterprises, provided the transfers are carried out among independent investors
• Working capital loans
  Investments in working capital related to the development or expansion of activities as well as the formation or strengthening of a new or existing business of the enterprise.

SME Loan Guarantee Programme  - EIF

The European Investment Fund (EIF) provides a guarantee of  50% of the amount of the loan for entrepreneurs, small and medium-sized enterprises whose subject financing and investment are innovation, digitalization, culture, creative sector or sustainability. With the support of the EIF guarantee, the client not only receives loan security, but also a lower interest rate.

The programme is valid until 12 April 2025

Eligible bank guarantee applicant:

• Small and medium-sized enterprises (up to 250 employees) with a turnover of max. EUR 50 million or assets max. EUR 43 million (the entire economic client group)  
• larger enterprises with up to 499 employees (counting entire economic group of the client)
• with its registered office and operations in the Czech Republic

Loan parameters:

• operating or investment loan
• refinancing of the client's existing liabilities (max. up to up to 10% of the principal amount of the loan)
• the undertaking or loan must meet the criteria of innovation; or digitalisation or culture or creative sector or sustainability
• a guarantee of up to 50% of the amount owed for investment loans and for operating loans
• the maximum loan amount in EUR may be EUR 7,5 million
• loan maturity from 12 to 120 months for investment loans and 12 months for an operating loan from the signing of the loan agreement with the possibility of extendable

SME loan programme through the EIF guarantee
 

Under the InnovFin/HORIZON 2020 initiative, the European Investment Fund (EIF) guarantees 50% of the loan amount for loans to entrepreneurs who are innovative or want to invest in digitalisation. Thanks to the EIF guarantee, the client not only gets the security of a loan, but also a lower interest rate.

Programme valid until 31 December 2022

Final Recipient shall be:

• SMEs with a turnover of max. EUR 50 million or assets of max. EUR 43 million and less than 500 employees (the entire economic group of the client is counted)
• small, medium-sized or larger enterprises with 500 to 3 000 employees
• with their registered office and operations in the Czech Republic
   

Final Recipient Transaction parameters:

• operating or investment loan
• loan with investment purpose in innovation or digitisation
• a guarantee of up to 50 % of the loan amount for investment loans and for operating loans
• the amount of the loan in EUR may be from EUR 25 000 up to a maximum of EUR 7,5 million
• loan maturity from 12 to 120 months for investment loans and 12 months for operating loans from the signing of the loan agreement, with the possibility of extension.
  

The SIH Anti-Corona Guarantee Program – FLPG SME COVID

Program is valid until 30/06/2023

New guarantee program provided by Slovak Investment Holding, a. s. (SIH) with an optionto acquire interest subsidy for the support of micro, small and medium companies in order to mitigate the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic and the related preventive measures having consequences for the business operation.

Authorised applicant for the bank guarantee:

• Micro, small and medium company with max. turnover of MEUR 50 or max assets of MEUR 43 and number of employees less than 250 (the client’s whole economic group is included)
• with registered office and operation in the territory of Slovakia

Loan parameters:

• Operating or investment loan
• The maximum loan amount in EUR can be MEUR 1.18
• Maturity of the loan 12 – 48 months from the signature of the loan agreement
• Guarantee amount up to 80%
• Deferral of repayment of the principal and interests for 12 months
• Preferential interest rate by as much as 4 % p.a. Thanks to the interest subsidy
• Processing, loan increase and early repayment free of charge

The SIH Anti-Corona Guarantee Program 2A EŠIF

Program is valid until 16/11/2020

The new guarantee program provided by Slovak Investment Holding, a. s. (SIH) to support micro, small and medium companies in order to mitigate the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic and the related preventive measures having consequences for the business operation.

Authorised applicant for the bank guarantee:

• Micro, small and medium company with max. turnover of MEUR 50 or max assets of MEUR 43 and number of employees less than 250 (the client’s whole economic group is included)
• with registered office and operation in the territory of Slovakia

EXIMBANKA Guarantee Program

New guarantee program provided by the Export-Import Bank of the Slovak Republic to support small, medium and large companies in order to mitigate the declaration of the emergency situation in relation to the COVID-19 pandemic in the teritory of the Slovak Republic, and adoption of the support framework in relation to the spread of the COVID-19 disease on the liquidity and economic situation of the companies and their employees.

Program is valid until 31/12/2021

Authorised applicant for the bank guarantee:

• Small and medium company with max. turnover of MEUR 50 or max. assets of MEUR 43 and number of employees less than 250 (the client’s whole economic group is included)
• Large company
• with registered office and operation in the territory of Slovakia

• The maximum loan amount in EUR can be MEUR 1.18
• Maturity of the loan 24 – 72 months from the signature of the loan agreement

New Warranty Program provided by Slovak Investment Holding, a. s. (SIH) to support micro, small, medium, large businesses and subjects of the scientific research sector in order to support in the field of Digitization, Automation, Science and Research.

Authorized Bank Guarantee applicant::

• Micro business (up to 10 employees or EUR 2 million/balance), a small and medium -sized enterprise (MsP) (up to 250 employees or a turnover of EUR 50 million, or a balance of EUR 43 million). The entire economic group of the client is calculated.
• Large business (do not meet the above conditions for small and medium -sized enterprises)
• Scientific research sector entities in the field of digitization and automation, science and research (eg a scientific research institution, a non-profit organization and an interest association of legal persons)
• With its registered office and competence in Slovakia

Loan parameters:

• Investment or Operating Loan
• A business or loan must meet the criteria in the field of Digitization, Automation, Science and Research
• Liability amount up to 80% of the amount owed and 25% on the entire loan portfolio (portfolio warranty)
• Possibility of obtaining a grant as an extraordinary repayment of part of the principal of the loan (up to 30 % of the principal drawn)
• Loan amount up to 2.8 mil. EUR depending on the total maturity and aid de minimis
• Maximum maturity is 10 years (repayment loan) or 3 years (revolving loan)
