A better card for a better world

Get to know your new Mastercard payment card. It is modern, mindful of nature and has an extended validity.

What you need to know about card replacement

The replacement of current personal debit and credit cards begins August 2024 and will take place until June 2025.

You will be informed in advance that a new card is on its way to you via a push notification in your mobile banking or by SMS to your contact phone number.

The basic setup of the new card will remain the same as the current one, the limits and accounts attached to the card do not change.

The PIN remains the same.

The debit card also exists in virtual form. All you have to do is activate it in the Smart Banking mobile app and you can start using it right away, no more waiting for the plastic card to arrive in the mail.

  • During the years 2024 and 2025 for every EUR 400 paid with the card online or in a brick-and-mortar store, we will plant one tree up to a maximum of EUR 10,000 trees and shrubs.
  • In Slovakia, this will involve the restoration of rare floodplain forests and the revitalisation of islands, ox-bows and wetlands around the Danube.
  • UniCredit Bank, Mastercard and BROZ help Slovak nature together.

If you don't yet use Apple Pay or Google Pay, just register your card for these services.

Detailed instructions can be found HERE.
