Owing to the new Smart Banking application, which will also become your financial advisor, you will have a perfect overview of your income and spending in concise charts.

Smart Banking makes full use of your smartphone’s possibilities. You can easily sign off on payments of up to CZK 50,000 with your fingerprint or by means of Face ID. You can pay merely by scanning a QR code, barcode or money order.

In the application, you will find overviews of all of your accounts, payment cards and transaction history. Thanks to transaction notifications, you will always have an overview of what is happening on your accoun.

Smart Banking application tutorial

ACCOUNTS
In a few seconds you are in the picture of how much money you have available. You now have an overview of all your finances on the new home screen. You can easily view your current accounts, cards, savings accounts or loan products. In addition, you have an immediate overview of how much money you have in the bank in total. If you have more than one account, simply expand them by clicking on the arrow to the right of the product. Don't want anyone to see your current balances? Use the eye icon on the top right of the screen. Just click and all your balances will remain hidden. Click again to make them back visible.
	CARDS
	In the Cards section, you have an immediate overview of your debit and credit cards. You can also view your payment card PIN numbers. Click on the eye icon in the top right corner of the payment card to easily view the full card details - full number, CVV code and validity. You can easily copy the full card number directly in the app and simply paste it when you pay. You can view a summary of payments made with the respective card, which can be filtered at will. Changing the daily limits for cash withdrawals, cashless payments or online payments is a matter of course. You have the option of displaying the PIN for the payment card directly in the app. For debit cards, you also have the option to change your PIN to make it easier to remember. Can't find your card or think it's been stolen? You can simply block temporarily your card until you unblock it yourself. If you receive a new card, you can easily activate it in the Cards section. In the Cards section, you can also adjust your limits or pay off your credit card. To make a repayment, just check the details and confirm the payment. You'll also appreciate the simple and quick way to add your VISA card to Apple/Google Pay directly in Smart Banking, without having to enter additional details and identify yourself.
PAYMENTS
In the Payments section, you can easily and conveniently make a domestic payment or transfer between your own accounts in various currencies. You can save recurring payment templates to make them easier to enter next time or you can repeat a payment made from your account transaction history. You can make payment by scanning a QR code. Payment details can be sent as a PDF document to your e-mail The application also allows you complete control over your standing orders – create, edit or delete a standing order with immediate effect. You can handle topping up your mobile phone with just a few clicks – all you need to do is enter a telephone number and amount. Does your friend owe you for dinner? Generate a QR code in Smart Banking with the data required for the payment and send it to him, for instance, via SMS or WhatsApp.
	OVERVIEWS
	With the transaction overview, managing your finances has never been easier. In the bottom menu in the “Overviews” section, you can see an overview of your income and spending. This will provide you with an instant overview of what’s up with your finances so you can plan and monitor your budget. Use the transaction overview to see what you spend on. If you find any category inconvenient, you can easily change it and reclassify the income or spending.
INVESTMENTS
In the Investments section, you can easily and conveniently view and manage all investment products. You can buy mutual funds, start a new regular investment or sell your investments. The app also allows you to view historical transactions and orders. You can manage new instructions in a few clicks - just select the investment instrument and enter the amount you want to invest. How to view and copy the card number?

The entire card number can be easily viewed and copied directly in the application. You will find step-by-step instructions on how to do this in the attached instructions.

Where can I find SMART KEY?

The Smart Key can be found on the initial login screen above the "LOG IN" button.

Did I not receive a notification (push notification)?

In order to use any push notifications, you must have your phone connected to the internet and have notifications enabled in both the Smart Banking/Smart Key app and in Settings on your mobile phone.

I don't have an internet connection on my phone and I didn't receive a notification to log into online banking, how can I log in now?

If you don't have an internet connection, you can use the alternative option of logging in using a QR code (offline), which does not require an internet connection. This option can be found by logging into the Smart Key app in the Smart Banking app.

I already use online banking from UniCredit Bank. Can I use both services at the same time?

Yes. In addition, Smart Banking will help you in case you need to quickly block your card due to loss, increase the limit on purchases in the store and also activate the U-save discount program, which allows you to get benefits when paying with your card.

I have multiple accounts, can I control them through one app?

Yes, the Smart Banking app puts all your current accounts, foreign currency accounts, savings accounts, term deposits, cards, loans and other products at your fingertips.

Can I use the service abroad? Isn't it expensive?

Yes, Smart Banking is also available to you abroad if your mobile phone has a Wi-fi internet connection or data roaming. We do not charge any fees for using the app. You can check the roaming charges with your operator.

What happens if I use Smart Banking and then get a new phone? Will I still be able to use the service?

If you have used the app in the past, you can simply activate it on your new device using your username and the PIN you chose during the previous activation. In case you have forgotten your details, you can access the app by scanning your ID card or we will be happy to help you on our hotline +420 221 210 031.

What should I do if I change my registered phone number for Smart Banking?

Smart Banking is independent of your mobile operator and will therefore work with your new phone number (new SIM card). If you want to activate the app in the future, you will need to change your phone number as we send an activation SMS to this number. You can change your phone number during Smart Banking activation. If you already have the app active, you can also change your phone number on the MORE - MY PROFILE tab.

Is it safe to use Smart Banking?

Yes, Smart Banking uses state-of-the-art security in the form of a security key. This generates a unique, time-limited security code at each point in time that protects logging into the app and sending transactions to the bank. Smart Banking login and payment signatures are protected by PIN, fingerprint or Face ID.

What happens if my phone is stolen or lost?

Even in this unpleasant situation, your data and finances are safe - thanks to the security key in the app, no one can access your finances and account without your PIN. You can then activate the app on your new device for free. Security is always fully guaranteed.

What happens if I forget to turn Smart Banking off?

For security reasons, the app will automatically shut down after 3 minutes and log the logged-in user out.

I forgot my PIN, how can I reactivate Smart Banking?

In case you have forgotten your PIN, you can set a new one by scanning your ID card. We will also be happy to help you with Smart Banking activation on our hotline +421 2 6920 2090 or at one of our branches.

What to do if Smart Banking requires an update.

You probably have a version of the app installed that we no longer support. Simply update Smart Banking to the latest version by clicking the Update button and updating Smart Banking to the latest version in the secure Google Play/AppStore environment.

We also recommend turning on automatic updates for Smart Banking in your phone's Settings. This way, your phone will update the app regularly and you don't have to worry about a thing. It's the safest way to keep the Smart Banking app up-to-date with all the security enhancements and latest features.
